Renova - Effectively Alleviate Facial Wrinkles

What Is Renova & How Does It Work?

Renova can help reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and mottled skin discoloration, often caused by the sun. It's a cream that is applied topically to facial skin to make it feel smoother. The active ingredient in Renova is tretinoin, which is a form of vitamin A that helps the skin renew itself.

Renova Precautions

Renova makes skin more sensitive to sunlight, and sunburn may result. So avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays (sunlamps or tanning beds). If you are in the sun, wear protective clothing and use a sun tan lotion with a minimum SPF of 15. If Renova gets in your eyes, mouth, nose, or on your lips, wash with water. Do not use Renova on skin that is: sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, irritated or broken. Wait until wounds or areas of eczema have healed before using Renova on them. Pregnant or nursing mothers must alert their doctors if they plan to use Renova as there could be ill effects to the unborn/baby. Always tell your doctor if you are taking any other medications, especially skin products.

How to Use Renova

Keep taking Renova until your physician tells you not to, even if you think it’s not working. It may take weeks or even a few months before improvement is noticed. Applying Renova more often or in larger quantities will not increase effectiveness and may increase side effects. Wash your hands and clean and dry the skin area to be treated before applying Renova. Renova may irritate the skin if applied when skin is wet. Therefore, wait 20 minutes or more after washing your face before applying a thin layer of Renova. Do not wash the treated area, or apply other skin products on the area, for at least 1 hour after applying Renova. In order to maximize the medication’s effectiveness, the cream should be used as part of a complete skin care program that includes avoiding sunlight and using an effective sunscreen and protective clothing.

Renova Side Effects

Discontinue use of Renova and get immediate medical help if in the rare instance you experience a serious allergic reaction including: rash or hives, difficulty breathing, tightness in your chest, or swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat. Less serious side effects may include redness, dryness, burning, warmth, stinging, tingling, itching, swelling, peeling, irritation or discolored skin. Also tell your doctor promptly if your skin experiences severe blistering, crusting, swelling or excessive redness or discoloration.
